WATSON, Elizabeth Alison (nee Durant) – Passed away peacefully, in the presence of loving family, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Sunday August 9, 2026 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Donald (2025). Cherished mother of Lisa (Dylan), Sheri (Dominik) and loving grandmother of Aleksander. She will be deeply missed by brother Desmond and family in Barbados, as well as many extended family and friends.
Born in Bridgetown, Barbados, Liz immigrated to Canada in 1967, where she met her future husband Donald. For many years, they lived in Burlington, Ontario with their two daughters. Liz worked in the Parish Office at St. Luke’s Anglican Church for almost 20 years. She will be fondly remembered by many for her devotion to family, her humor and her inner fortitude.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will held in Waterdown in October, with details to be announced at a later date. Memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.morganfuneral.com
