It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bonnie Flora Soley.
She died peacefully in her home surrounded by family on January 1, 2024 at the age of 83.
She will be deeply missed by her sister Cheryl, nieces Debbie (Bill) and Andrea, great niece Ashley (Kyle) and great great nephews Jackson and Carter.
Bonnie was predeceased by her parents William and Mary and her nephew Scott. Bonnie had a great passion for crafts, gardening and travel.
She found joy in creating beautiful hand made crafts, tending to her garden and traveling extensively around the world. Animals were also an important part of her life, her beloved cats Smokey and Sebastian gave her tremendous joy as well as volunteering at the Toronto Zoo for many years working with the elephants.
In her community Bonnie was an active member of Blythwood Road Baptist Church where she found solace and spiritual guidance. Her faith was an important part of her life and she cherished her time spent worshipping at the church. Bonnie’s wonderful spirit, kind heart and warm smile will be remembered by all that knew her. She was very loved and we will miss her dearly. May she rest in eternal peace.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a gathering in remembrance of Bonnie.
