Marilyn Alice Baker passed away at Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on September 13, 2026, in her 79th year.
Marilyn was the beloved wife of the late Harry Baker and the devoted partner of Dave Ridley. She was a cherished mother to Lauri McKerral and mother-in-law to Lauri’s husband, Brian.
Her many friends will remember Marilyn for her caring, kind-hearted nature. She especially enjoyed dogs, reading and baking.
Cremation has taken place in keeping with Marilyn’s wishes. A Celebration of Life for those closest to her will be arranged at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
