Rosa Grieco

It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved Mamma Rosa on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at The Village of Humber Heights, surrounded by her loving family. Rosa Grieco was a devoted wife of the late Ciriaco for 64 years, and a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend. Born in Accadia, Foggia, Italy, on June 29, 1933. Rosa was the heart of our family. Our beloved “Regina”, the queen of our famiglia. She had a beautiful gift for making everyone around her feel loved, welcomed, and special. Her warmth, kindness, generosity, and unconditional love touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Much loved mother of Phyllis and the late John Colosimo, Celestino and Cathy Grieco, Anna Grieco and Lou Ragone, and Francesca and Jose Carneiro. Cherished Nonna of Lina (Justin), Rosario (Jessica), Alicia (Rocheny), Celeste, Michael (Emily), Emma Rose (Richard), Peter (Kierstin), Alessandra, Antonio (Robyn), Gabriel and great-grandmother of Carter, Eleanora, Gianluca, Julian, John Williams, Evhan, and Emaya. Dear sister of the late Pasquale (Tina), Bill (Angie), and Antonio (Stella), and sister-in-law of the late Vito (Yolanda), the late Antonio (Anna), Frank (the late Maria), and Maria (Luigi). Rosa will be fondly remembered by her extended family and many friends. Resting at the NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, (North of Rexdale Boulevard) on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass at Transfiguration of Our Lord Church, 45 Ludstone Drive, on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. Entombment Glendale Memorial Gardens.
