David Dillon O’Flynn died peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Monday, September 14, 2026. He was 92.
David was the beloved husband of the late Gloria O’Flynn and the late Catherine O’Flynn. He was a loving stepfather to John Carter (Elaine) and the late Bill Carter (Anne-Marie), and a step-grandfather to Amanda, John and Jason.
He is also remembered as a special friend of John and Cheryl Dennis, and Mike and Emily Dennis. Friends who knew him through the community affectionately remembered him as Santa and recalled the warmth and kindness he brought to others.
A graveside service will take place at Cobourg Union Cemetery on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
Those wishing to honour David may make a memorial donation to Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice or Northumberland Hills Hospital.
