
Patricia Ann Schamber, born January 11, 1961, in Niagara Falls, Ontario, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2026, in Langley, British Columbia.
Patricia dedicated her career to payroll and administration, where she was known for her commitment and care in her work.
Patricia loved being active and committed herself to living a healthy and happy life. One of her proudest accomplishments was running a marathon at the age of 50. She also had a love of music and dancing and enjoyed playing cards, sharing laughter, and spending time with her husband, children, grandchild, siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family. Above all, Patricia cherished the time she spent with the people she loved.
Those who knew Patricia will remember her as kind, caring, thoughtful, and sweet. She had a gentle spirit and a way of making those around her feel loved and cared for. Her family will forever cherish the memories of her laughter, her warmth, her love of music and dancing, and the many moments shared together.
Patricia will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Gary Robert Schamber; daughter, Brandi Rose Schamber; son, Daniel Milton Schamber; granddaughter, Cailynn Delmedico; siblings, Julie Phillips, Beverlee Rasmussen, and Darren Monrad; and her many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Roseanne Skinner; her nephew, Jacob Rutzen; her aunt, Maryellen; her uncle, Jack; and countless other beloved family members who passed before her.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Langley Lodge and the caregivers who cared for Patricia with compassion and kindness during her final days. Their dedication and support provided comfort to Patricia and her family during a very difficult time.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details will be announced when arrangements have been finalized.
Patricia’s memory will live on through the many lives she touched and in the love she shared with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
