It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Samuel George Smith on September 9th, 2026 at St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto. Beloved husband of Sharon Smith. Loving father of Michael Lewis, Samuel Smith Jr. , Sophia Smith and Shantel Smith. Dear grandfather of Dushaun Lewis, Michayla Lewis, Daniel Lewis, Caleeb Smith and Amani Smith. He will be lovingly remembered by many siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Newediuk Funeral Home, Kipling Chapel, 2058 Kipling Avenue, Etobicoke on Thursday, September 24th, 2026 from 4-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Mount Zion Apostolic Church, 30 Pemican Court, Toronto on Saturday, September 26th, 2026 with viewing starting at 9 a.m. until the start of the funeral service at 10 am – 12:30pm Burial will follow at Glenview Memorial Gardens to follow.
