Born on December 19, 1937 in Toronto, Karen lived a life characterized by devotion to her faith, family, friends and quiet service. She will be lovingly remembered for her love for Jesus, her wisdom, her warm hugs, her unconditional love, her care and concern for everyone around her, and her red pickup truck.
Predeceased by her loving husband, Walter, her parents, Frank and Lillian Phillips, and her brothers Frank and Bill, Karen is survived by her children; David (Deb), Miriam (Dave), Daniel (Karen); her cherished grandchildren, Jeffrey (Delaney), Samantha (Matthew), Rachael (Colin), Caleb (Stephanie), Joshua (Madeline), Ethan (Megan); great-grandchildren Emmett, Hank, Kip and Tillie; brother Tom (Carolynne) and sister Margie (Doug) as well as many beloved brother and sister in laws, cousins, nephews, nieces, coworkers at Camille’s Closet, and treasured friends.

A Celebration of Life will take place in Port Perry later in the fall once details are confirmed. In lieu of flowers, donations to Arms of Jesus would be welcome.
