Peacefully, on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Gwenyth (nee Gooderham). Loving father of Chris (Kelly). Cherished grandfather of Andrea (Justin) and Danielle (Dillon). Dear brother of Heather, and William. Pre-deceased by his siblings Carol, Kitty Laura, Clara and Mary Field. Murray Paul Mellis will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at the Heritage Cemetery of St. Peter on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 12:30 pm, followed by, a celebration of Murray’s life in the MacCoubrey Funeral Home Reception Centre from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
