Dorothy Jean Bauer passed away peacefully with family by her side at Extendicare Maple View on September 26, 2026, at the age of 94. She was born in East York, Toronto, on March 28, 1932.
Dorothy was the wife of the late William “Bill” Bauer and mother of William Jr. and George. She is remembered by her grandchildren, extended family, lifelong friends, and her community at Zion Lutheran Church.
A private family graveside service will take place at Greenwood Cemetery, where Dorothy will be laid to rest with Bill. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
