Conrad “Red” Bellefleur passed away peacefully at The Meadows of Dorchester on September 23, 2026, with Joyce, his wife and partner of 70 years, by his side. He was born in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, on December 14, 1934.
Conrad is remembered by Joyce; children Germaine, Clayton, and Terrie and their families; grandsons Kyle and Liam; great-granddaughter Lowen Louise; nieces and nephews; and friends.
A skilled pipe welder, he worked on the Skylon Tower and Niagara Falls Casino and later retired from General Motors. He enjoyed snowmobiling, music, playing guitar and harmonica by ear, entertaining with spoons, travelling, and time in his garage and backyard.
Visitations will take place at Patterson Funeral Home in Niagara Falls on October 1. A funeral service will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on October 2, followed by committal at Fairview Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
