Anthony Stephen Ceney

Passed away suddenly in Lindsay on Saturday, September 26, 2026, just one day after celebrating his 80th birthday. Beloved husband of Cynthia and loving father of Sean (Jennifer) and Kelly (Brad). Proud grandfather of Dustin, Brock, Marshall and Curtis, who will miss him dearly. Tony was a dear brother to Debbie (Don), Sheila, and the late Bryan and Stephanie. He will also be fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends.

Anthony Ceney enjoyed a long career with the MTRCA, where his work allowed him to spend much of his time outdoors, operating equipment and working in the maple bush during maple syrup season. A farmer at heart, Tony especially enjoyed his years as a hobby farmer and the simple pleasure of working the land.

Tony will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Tony’s Life will be held at the Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge (905-852-3073), on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a time of sharing beginning at 3:00 p.m. No formal attire required, come as you are. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
