Linda Margaret Constable (nee Arthur, formerly Beauchamp) passed away on September 30, 2026, at Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg at the age of 89. She was born on April 24, 1937, to Bruce and Grace Arthur of Alnwick Township.
Linda was the beloved wife of Tom Constable and the late Tony Beauchamp, and a loving mother to John, Judy, and Janice (Terry). She was a proud grandmother to Jacob and Pierson. She was predeceased by her sisters Lois Linton, Blanche Poole, and Joyce Duncan, and will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Linda attended Cobourg District Collegiate Institute and Peterborough Teachers College and taught in Haldimand Township for forty years. Music, gardening, nature, quilting, and travel were important parts of her life. She was an active member of St. Andrew’s United Church in Grafton and the Grafton Horticultural Society.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 6, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at MacCoubrey Funeral Home in Cobourg. A funeral service will follow Wednesday, October 7, at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northumberland Hills Hospital or a charity of your choice.
