
Angelo Carusi passed away on September 30, 2026, with his family by his side. Born in Avezzano, L’Aquila, Italy, he built a career of more than 40 years in hairdressing and was a familiar presence in downtown Kamloops for over 35 years.
He is remembered for his humour, generosity, pride in his Italian heritage, and devotion to family and friends. Angelo is survived by his son Angelo; his father, Tino Carusi; his siblings Augie, Ed, and Rina and their families; and his nieces, nephews, and great-nieces. He was predeceased by his mother, Anna Carusi.
Prayers will be held October 8 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Kamloops, followed by a Funeral Mass there on October 9 and interment at Hillside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Kamloops Hospice Association.
