It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Ware.
Patricia died peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2026 with her children at her side.
Patty was a beloved mother to Dan, Colleen, Stephen (Michelle), and David. She was a proud grandmother to Eric (Tiana), Brelyn, Alyssa, Evan, Alexandra, Anthony and Ryot, and an especially proud great-grandmother to James, who brought her so much joy. She was a cherished Step-mother to Wendy (John), Anna (Jim) and Peter (Bonnie). A sister and a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Family was Patty’s life. Being a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend meant so much to Patty. Each of us had our own relationship with her, our own memories and moments that we will hold close. It is difficult to put into words what she meant to us, or how much we will miss her.
It will be hard to imagine life without her. We will miss the sound of her voice, the conversations about everything and nothing, and being able to pick up the phone just because we wanted to talk to her. Her absence will be felt in the little everyday moments just as much as on birthdays, holidays and gatherings. Turkey dinners will never be the same without her. There is so much we will still want to tell her, so much we will want her to be here for, and we will miss her more than words can say.
She would want us to remember that even though her body is no longer with us, her energy is still here. When we look up at the moon or find ourselves wishing we could talk to her, we will remember that the love she gave us is still ours to keep.
Details of a service or celebration of Patty’s life will be shared when arrangements have been made.
“And this too shall pass…”
Loved always and deeply missed.
