Charles Stewart Edwards passed away peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on October 1, 2026, in his 73rd year.
He was the husband of Jenny Edwards (née Copping), father of Joe Edwards and Crystal Duguid, and a grandfather and great-grandfather. Charles is also remembered by his siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King Street East, Cobourg, on October 8, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m., with interment at Cobourg Union Cemetery. Flowers are welcome, and memorial donations may be made to the Northumberland Hills Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
