Nello Salvatore Fuoco passed away peacefully in Toronto on October 1, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born on October 30, 1947, in Carpanzano, Calabria, Italy.
Nello is remembered by his wife of 29 years, Teodora “Dora”; son Vincenzo and his wife Alexandra; sisters Antonia and Franca; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Canada and Italy. He was predeceased by his parents, Vincenzo and Angela, and siblings Carmela, Gennarino and Consalvo.
He enjoyed cycling, gardening, cooking and time with family. Visitation will be held at Jerrett Funeral Homes in Toronto on October 7, with a funeral Mass at St. Clare’s Roman Catholic Church on October 8, followed by entombment at Prospect Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Foundation.
