Kyle Garth Henry of Campbell River passed away peacefully on October 3, 2026, at the age of 51 after living with cancer. Born in Port Hardy and raised in Sandspit, Haida Gwaii, Kyle built a career in forestry, contracting and mining while maintaining a deep connection to the outdoors.
He is remembered by his wife Kelly, daughter by choice Lina, mother Gail, siblings Derek and Meredith, extended family, friends and the international students welcomed into his home. A celebration of life will be held at the Maritime Heritage Centre in Campbell River on October 25, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Campbell River Hospital Foundation or River City Cycle Club.
