Dow Frederick MacKay, 86, of Fredericton, New Brunswick, died October 9, 2026. A devoted family man with a natural gift for connecting with people, he worked alongside his father at MacKay Meats, sold cars at Fairview Chrysler and later independently, and retired from Hub Meatpackers. Remembered for his humour, his community life at Davidson Lake, and his beloved dog Casey, he leaves two children, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
