Mike Fitzner, who spent most of his working life in Alberta before settling in the Okanagan in 2006, died in early October, just short of his 75th birthday. He is remembered by five children, fourteen grandchildren, and his siblings, as well as the Okanagan College community, where he spent a decade as a courier and tool-room technician known for his work ethic and humour. At his request there will be no service; his family asks instead for shared memories and photos.
