Eva Huppke of New Hamburg, Ontario passed away on October 15, 2026 at age 90; she was born on October 13, 1936. She is survived by her children Ingrid Alexy-Ferrede, Carmen Buchenaur, Dagmar Otto and Esther Alexy, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sister Karin Mahnke, and her close friend Gunter Barz. Visitation and a funeral service are at Mark Jutzi Funeral Home in New Hamburg, with memorial donations to the Canadian Lung Association suggested.
