Marie Francoise Klassen of Kelowna, British Columbia, born August 1, 1936 in Willow Bunch, Saskatchewan, died suddenly at home in Kelowna on October 10, 2026 at age 90. A proud Metis woman and the City of Kelowna’s 2001 Woman of the Year for her cancer-patient volunteer work, she is survived by her husband Jack, daughter Terry-Lee, stepchildren and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of life is set for October 30, 2026 at Springfield Funeral Home.
