It is with sadness that the passing of Edward Andrew Galeckas (Tillsonburg, Ontario) is shared. Edward, born on June 22, 1957, passed away on October 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Edward will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Edward by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Edward is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Edward’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Galeckas and Elena Galeckas (Bigeles). He is survived by: his wife Diane (Chromczak); the fathers of children, Chris, Trevor (Carolina) and Marc (Kait); his grandchild Avery; and his siblings, Hank Galeckas (Anne) and Irene Vandermeersch (John). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
