We announce the death of Florence (Flo) Margaret Jacob (Victoria, British Columbia), who passed away on October 22, 2026, at the age of 85. Florence will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Florence will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Florence will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Florence’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She is survived by: her husband Alan; her daughters, Sian (Egon) and Penny (Norm); her grandchildren, Gareth and Alyssa (Cal); and her brother Alun (K. Flo).
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens (4665 Falaise Dr, Victoria, BC V8Y1B4).
In lieu of flowers, donations, if desired, may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Alzheimer Society and/or the Canadian Lung Association.
