He is survived by: his wife Lois Elaine Barlow; his children, Lee Simpson (Keith) and Alex Barlow (Tracey); his grandchildren, Gwen, Andrew, Jennifer, Julia, Holly, David and Emily; and his sister Donalda MacDonald (Rick).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Presbyterian Church of St. David (1544 Grafton St, Halifax, NS B3J0J5). A reception will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Royal Artillery Park.
