It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished daughter and sister Makenzie Ireland Manning who left us far too soon on November 1st at the tender age of 21. Makenzie was a truly beautiful, kind-spirited, and witty soul. With her sharp humor and gentle presence, she brought an unmistakable warmth and light to everyone she met. She was, above all, a deeply honest, loyal, and trustworthy person—someone whose word was absolute and whose friendship was a gift to those fortunate enough to know her.
Makenzie was a dedicated and highly respected department manager at the Real Canadian Superstore where her integrity, hard work, and gentle presence made a lasting impression on both her colleagues and customers. Outside of work, she enjoyed her quiet time, playing the piano and spending time with her family but most of all she loved going on thrifting adventures or just hanging out and sharing some laughs with her best friend and sister Amanda.
She is survived by her loving parents, John and Julie and her beloved sister Amanda , Grandparent’s, Rodney and Geraldine Bowen, Pauline Lindsey, Dave and Frances Manning, Great Grandmother Jean Manning and many Aunt’s, Uncles, cousins and friends who loved her dearly. A private family service will be held at a later date to honour her memory.
Makenzie’s beautiful spirit and the light she brought into our lives will never be forgotten.
