EPIK, Diane Chyrl (nee EMERSON)   -  1952 - 2022  It is with heavy hearts and immense sadness that the family announce the peaceful passing of Diane Chyrl Epik on Friday, June 3, 2022.

Diane died surrounded by her daughter and husband after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

She is survived by her incredible husband, Atik; her beloved daughter, Kendra (Daniel); and the Emerson and Epik families. Predeceased by her parents, Ken and Ida Emerson; and her brother, Darrel Emerson.

Diane worked for the Toronto District School Board for over 20 years.

She had an immense love for the children and her colleagues at work. Her favourite thing to do was spend time with her family and close friends.

She was happily married to Atik for 30 years.

Diane's greatest joy was investing so much time and energy into her gifted daughter's passions for dance, music and artistic endeavors.

She was an inspiration to all and made a lasting impact on those lives she touched. She was a beautiful, kind and resilient woman. She will be forever missed.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 11 a.m., at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 2700 Kingston Rd.

If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
