SAVELKAUL, Michael Sr. - Passed away suddenly on Friday, August 28, 2020 at the age of 63.
Cherished father to Mike (Vivianne) and Kyle (Natalie). Proud papa to Ethan and Austin.
Loving brother to Andy (Cathy). Loving son of Hanna and Fred Savelkaul (predeceased 1993).
Mike Sr. will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all of his extended family and friends.
He had great love and admiration for his sons and grandsons. His life centred around them. He was always the life of the party at our family events.
We will miss his stories from the ‘80s, his laughter, his sense of humour and his amazing cooking skills.
Mike just naturally shined and made friends wherever he went. We will never forget his vibrant, welcoming spirit, sense of joy and wonderment.
In keeping with Mike’s never-ending love for his grandchildren, in lieu of flowers, donations to SickKids Foundation are greatly appreciated.
Visitation will be held at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby on Friday September 4th from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Please contact the Funeral Home, to reserve your attendance for the visitation. MASKS REQUIRED. A private service with family and close friends will be held at 2 p.m.
