DE ACETIS, Nicola 'Nick' - (April 6, 1935 – September 3, 2020)
Peacefully in his sleep at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Thursday morning, September 3, 2020, in his 86th year.
Beloved husband for 58 years of Anna De Acetis (nee Morelli). Dedicated and cherished father of Roberto De Acetis (Annette) and Nevia De Acetis (Shomari Reid).
Proud Nonno of Alena De Acetis, Catriona De Acetis, Amelia De Acetis, Anna Maria De Acetis and Maximo De Acetis. Survived by his sister Lucy Sanelli and sister-in-laws Giovanna De Acetis and Dolores De Acetis. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Nick’s motto in life was “I do it my way” and he was very proud of his kids and all of his “Kiddies” (grandchildren).
Visitation will take place at Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge, on Friday, September 4th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. COVID-19 Restrictions will apply. A private family graveside service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Nick’s memory made to the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region would be appreciated by the family.
