SUSINI, Anna Susini - Born December 23, 1928 – September 1, 2020
On September 1, 2020 in the early hours Anna (Nina) passed away in her sleep while in Long Term Care at Woodbridge Vista Care Community.
Anna was 91 years of age at the time of her passing.
Anna was the beloved wife of Vittorio Susini who passed away just a few months ago on June 28th, 2020.
She is remembered to be a strong independent women who is survived by her two children Daughter Lina (spouse) Silverio and two grandsons, Jon and Jason and Son Giovanni and (spouse) Maria, and two grandsons, Vincenzo and Sebastiano.
Anna was born and raised in Barletta, a small town in Southern Italy.
Anna was known in her early years to always love going to the beach and hanging around with her family and friends. Anna was a talented professional jeweler in the family business while still in Italy.
Anna met and married the love of her life Vittiorio and as a couple they decided to immigrate to Canada to make a new start for a better life. With little English she was persistent to learn and used to attend English classes at the local Church, she continued to work as jeweler for many more years until she become a mother and fulltime home maker.
Anna was also known to enjoy spending her time in the kitchen baking bake goods like her favorite “Biscotti and Almond Cookies”.

Anna’s remains will be laid to rest next to her beloved Vittorio at GROVESIDE CEMETERY’s “Garden of the Four Seasons” in Whitby.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those who wish to honor Vittorio, can make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society.
