THOMPSON, Sheila  - (March 27, 1931 - December 6, 2020)

Sheila passed peacefully in her sleep on Sunday December 6th, 2020.

She was the beloved daughter of Gladys Thompson.

She is predeceased by her siblings, Elsie Weekes (Dawson), Leo Thompson, Elaine Bradshaw (Vernal).  Loving sister of Errol Thompson (Gene) and Anne Lowe (Lance).

Cherished aunt of Gwen Hollingsworth, Diane Wiltshire, Ingrid Warner, Patrick Thomas, Dolores Thompson and others.  Much loved great aunt of Joanne Mayers-Worrell and others.

Sheila was a devout member of Oakwood Wesleyan Church and Christian Life Centre.
She dedicated her life to serve God until she was diagnosed with Dementia/Alzheimer’s disease and was admitted to Rouge Valley Extendicare.

She was very upbeat and loved to have her own way and the last word.   She was very loyal to her family and friends.

Our family would like to thank the staff at Rouge Valley Extendicare for their love, exquisite care and support during her stay, especially during the trying times of this pandemic.

Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or The Arthritis Foundation

The service will be Monday December 14th at 11am. Due to Covid-19 there will be no visitation, only a private service for the family.
