BALL, Colin Arthur Wallace Ball  -  December 7, 1938 – May 30, 2021

It is with great sadness the family of Colin Ball of Port Perry shares his passing, at age 82.

Colin will be forever loved and cherished by his wife Margaret (nee Whittaker) of nearly 64 years.

Deeply loved by his daughters Debra Ball (deceased) and Carolyn (Todd) Wilbur, his grandchildren Kaylee and Tyler Wilbur, his sister Janet Edmond, and his brothers Robert (Jean) and Guenther. Predeceased by his brother Kenneth (Katherine) and his parents Eric and Grace Ball.

He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and his sisters and brothers-in-law. Colin cherished his many lasting and meaningful friendships through his church, sports and lodge. Colin was the most loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

He loved the Lord and we know he is rejoicing.

He was a dedicated and committed member of the Masonic Fraternity with an outstanding list of accomplishments, including Worshipful Master, Bridgewood #713 in 1977 and 1991, Grand Senior Warden, Grand Lodge of Ontario in 1986, awarded 50 years of distinguished and dedicated service to the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite and he accomplished his 33rd degree Scottish Rite at the Supreme Council in 1996.

Most who met Colin recognized him to be the kindest, loving and best hug giver ever.

We would like to thank the frontline workers at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry for the wonderful care they gave Colin.

Private arrangements in Port.  A celebration of his life will be announced when the restrictions of COVID-19 have been lifted.

In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged in memory of Colin to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation CT Scan or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
