HILBORN,Carolyn Anne nee (Pike) Hilborn - May 14th, 1936 to December 31st, 2021
Passed away peacefully at Fosterbrooke LTC, Newcastle, Ontario.
Beloved wife of Dalton Allan Hilborn (deceased).
Devoted mother of Brenda Hilborn (John), Kim Hilborn (Jeff), Lynda Hilborn, Dale Regan (Steve), and Stacey Hilborn.
Loving Nana to ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents William Pike and Marilyn Pike (Lunt), her brother William Pike, and sister Sally Mackay.
Carolyn was a loving stay at home mother to her five daughters. She loved her gardens, flowers and was very artistic.
She sewed, knitted, crocheted, drew and painted. She was full of life, loved to laugh, and her smile brightened every room. She cherished her family and loved all animals, especially her pugs.
She will be sorely missed by all the family and friends whose hearts she touched during her lifetime. Special thanks to Fosterbrooke LTC staff and Dale Carter for the loving care for mom.
Let your sparkle and spunk light up heaven as it did our lives mom.
Visitation for Friends and family at NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, on Thursday January 6 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon. Graveside service will follow in Port Hope.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heart and Stroke foundation.
