SUKURMARAN, Janet Evelyn (nee Fernando) Sukurmaran - 1933-2021
With utter devastation in our hearts, it is with deep sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Sukumaran on February 2, 2022 at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa.
Beloved wife of Samuel Sukumaran.
Devoted mother of Sanjeev and his wife Reema.
Devoted mother to Rajeev and his wife Rhonda. She will lovingly be remembered by her grandchildren, Sammy, Tyler, Jordan, Coulter, Maxwell, Zachary, Maya, and Joshua. Dear sister of Jasmine Jacob, Ernest Fernando, Esther Ederesinghe.
She will be missed by endless nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
Janet will be missed by countless students that she taught over her 43 years of service as a teacher in the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Her devotion and passion for her students to strive to be their best has left a legacy that will live on.

Due to current restrictions, a Private Family Service will be held in Bowmanville. A Celebration of Janet’s Life will be held at a later date.
