COLE, Anne - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Anne.
Anne passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 2nd at home, after a long courageous battle.
Loving wife and soulmate of Gord Cole for fifty-four wonderful years.
Dear sister of Bernard, Frank and Stephen.
Cherished Aunt to her many nieces and nephews in England, and Kelly and Bryan in Canada.
Proud Great-Aunt of Declan, Ceileigh and Samantha in Canada, whom she adored.
Anne is predeceased by her parents, James and Frances Sloan, and her sisters Patricia and Katherine. Anne was truly loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.
The family would like to thank the staff at HearthPlace and Dr. Jeffrey Rothenstein and the entire Oncology team at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, Sunnybrook Hospital and the home care Nurses and PSW’s for all their love, compassion and care throughout Anne’s Battle.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hearth Place or Durham Region Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
A celebration of Anne‘s life will be arranged at a future date.
