Passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness on Monday, March 21, 2022.
Beloved husband, partner and best friend of Laurel (Laurie) Beatrice Mackie.
Brother of Clare and Reid Stainton and the late Ann Chandler and Irene Doupe; son of the late Cecil Ptolemy and Leona Prentice.
Brother-in-law to Bobbie and Terry Finley, Virginia Mackie and the late David Mackie.
Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life for Bill will be held later in the spring.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation, or the Kawartha Antique Power would be appreciated by the family.
