GILES, Cyril - Cyril was called home to be with the Lord on March 30, 2022 at the age of 89.
Loving husband of Elsie (nee Hill) for 63 years. Caring Dad of Esther (Rick) and the late Heather Giles-White.
Fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Jacqueline and John; nephew Scott (Mara) and sister-in-law Kay.
Brother of the late Dennis of England and uncle of Peter, Andrew and Steven.
Upon arriving in Canada, Cyril worked on the Graham’s farm in Udora for several years, before starting his career at General Motors.
He enjoyed travelling, gardening, dancing with Elsie, and was a faithful member of the church, serving as an elder for many years.
Family and friends are invited to a funeral service at St. Andrews – Chalmers Presbyterian Church, 40 Toronto Street South, Uxbridge, on Saturday, April 9 at 2:00 p.m. Short reception to follow. Interment at 4:00pm in Foster Memorial Cemetery.
