COWLING, Lillian Josephine (nee Duffy)   -  July 6, 1919 – April 3, 2022.

With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Lillian who was predeceased by husband William and son Bill and leaves behind daughter Sharon Babbs (Norman predeceased), grand-children Donna and Linda Babbs, Amoreena Meadows (Brett), Jesse-Kate Cowling and great-grand-children Benjamin and Krista Newey, Ethan Graham, Ava and Julian Meadows.

Lillian was predeceased by her sisters, Kathleen Payne, Julia Coulter, Elizabeth Donaldson, Teresa Mullarky and brothers Edward, Thomas, James, William and twin brother Frank.

Much loved by Beth Carter and niece Betty Payne.

Lillian enjoyed the love of her family and friends, the casino, horse racing, bowling, choir, travel, theatre, golf, cribbage, the Blue Jays and a rye and ginger daily at 4:00 pm. When asked about the secret to her longevity, her answer was laughter. Her quick wit and sense of humour endured to her last days.

Her family will treasure so many fond memories of the laughs we shared with her.

Special thanks to the compassionate staff at Taunton Mills and St. Elizabeth.

Cremated remains interred at Pine Hills Cemetery.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, if desired, please donate to a  CHARITY of choice.
