Born in Toronto, Ontario.

Sister to (the late) Benjamin and Lorraine Terry.

At the age of 95, Joyce was a beloved and devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and Friend to many.

Joyce grew up in the Beaches area of Toronto and was a proud and patriotic Canadian who had a great love of the Arts, nature, and all things feminine.

She also loved sports and was particularly passionate when it came to the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team.

Joyce survived cancer three times, outlived two husbands, two children, and her only granddaughter.

Through all of life’s trials and tribulations, Joyce always maintained a happy and hopeful disposition and strong faith in God and goodness. She always appreciated and valued the small and simple things in life.

Joyce was beautiful on the inside and out and in every true sense, she was an elegant lady, who was admired and respected by all who knew her.

Joyce leaves a legacy of love, faith, optimism, courage, compassion, and gratitude. She will be greatly celebrated and sadly missed by all.

The family would like to express our sincere thanks to the 2 North Nursing staff at Lakeridge Health A/P Hospital with a very Special Thanks to Nurse Adreena for her help with our Mother’s musical farewell.
