Fielder MauriceFIELDER, Maurice  -
November 1, 1937 - December 29, 2023

Unexpectedly passed away on December 29, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 86.

Loving companion of Katherine ‘Kay’ Myers. Beloved father of Dean (Maggie), Mark (Sarah), Gary, Zoe (Shane), and Tanya (Steve) and stepfather of the late Jeff (Kristi).

Dear grandfather and great-grandfather of 29.

Maurice was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Lillian Fielder, his sister Doreen, brother-in-law Geoffrey Hardy, and sister-in-law Pauline Fielder. Left to mourn his passing are his sister Pamela (Brian) Hammond, his brother Graham (Hazel) Fielder, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends in Canada and England.

Maurice’s life revolved around love and dedication to his family and hearing and watching their many achievements and proud moments.
He enjoyed travelling, football, rugby, hockey and most other sports, but the happiest moments were spent in family activity, helping others, and relaxing at home with loved ones.

Maurice was a man of many abilities and often would surprise many. He was quiet and reserved but with a great sense of humour.
Maurice was a loving son, partner, father, father-in-law, granddad, great-granddad, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend. He was loved, he will be missed, he will be remembered, he will always be in our hearts. We will speak his name often and the memories we have will stay with us always…We Love You!

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 2 p.m. at  ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME  (124 King St. E., Oshawa).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation.
