OLMSTEAD, Marilyn Olmstead /nee Woodward - Peacefully, passing at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at the age of 87.
Beloved Wife of Eric Olmstead, and Edward (Ted) Woodward (deceased).
Loving Mother to Elizabeth Cosman and Derek Woodward
Cherished Grandmother to Kaelan and Joshua Cosman and Joseph Woodward.
Daughter to Leonard Cecil Simmerson and Gertrude Elizabeth Simmerson (nee Beard).
In her lifetime, she touched many people’s hearts with her kindness and compassion.
Her positive energy and outlook was a beacon for her family, friends and her church.
She loved music, teaching piano, playing piano and singing, and infusing that love for Music in her children and grandchildren and all who come in contact with her. This was a precious gift for all who knew her.
She will be missed dearly.
Funeral is scheduled on January 6, 2024, 1pm at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King St.E. Oshawa with visitation from 10am to 12pm.
Interment to follow at MOUNT LAWN CEMETERY .
