FELIX, Matthew Felix - Passed away on December 26th, 2023.
He is survived by his mother and father, Margaret Felix and Ronald Smith, his step father, Randolph La Touche, siblings, Rodell, Rondel, Renaldo, Shahannes and Rashad, and lastly his beautiful daughter Avia and Zaida.
Matthew, or Maddy to close family, was born on May 27, 1985 in St. George’s, Grenada.
From a young age, he understood the importance of school and a good education.
He had a curious mind, and he was eager to learn. That eagerness and commitment helped him to excel at one of the Country’s most prestigious all boy secondary schools.
In May of 2003, 10 days before his 19th birthday, Matt immigrated to Canada, but if you knew Matt, you knew how proud he was to be Grenadian and he carried that with him everywhere he went.
His finished his college education here, but his greatest accomplishment was his Girls. He was dedicated and loving father.
A disciplinarian in the truest sense but never lacking in love and affection.
Wanted only the best and better for Avia and Zaida.
Losing Matthew has been a shock to us all. He was a shining light in the lives of family and friends that can never be replaced.
His family is very appreciative of the unwavering love and support that they have received these past few weeks and ask that you continue to keep them in your prayers.
