Jobson IsabellJOBSON, Isabell Elaine Jobson -

APRIL 18, 1937 – FEBRUARY 3, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Isabell Elaine Jobson, affectionately known as Miss Tiny.

Isabell peacefully departed this life on February 3, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 86.

Isabell was a cherished mother to Dadra (Jeff), Annakay (Julian), Deborah, and Nadia.

She was a proud grandmother to Jamila, Mo, Amanda, Jerome, Tamar and Ammar, and a great-grandmother to Asia, Elias, Romell, and Shiyah. She was also a loving sister to Perlene, Hyacinth, Nathan, and Brickley.

Preceded by her parents, Geraldine and Harold Jobson, sisters Minnie, Vena, Alvis, and brother Leibert.

Isabell leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever remain in our hearts. Isabell was the epitome of selflessness and the glue that held our family together.

Her unconditional love and care knew no bounds, and she touched the lives of everyone she met with her warmth and kindness. Her gentle guidance and unwavering support were like a beacon of light in our lives, guiding us through both joyful and challenging times. Isabell was passionate about sewing, and she poured her heart into creating beautiful outfits for her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

Her talent and creativity brought joy to all who were fortunate enough to receive her handmade gifts. As we grapple with the reality of never seeing her comforting smile again, we find solace in knowing that her legacy of love and compassion will live on in each of us.

Though her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, we take comfort in the memories we shared and the lessons she imparted. We invite you to join us in celebration of a life so beautifully lived, as we bid farewell to our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend, knowing that she will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Isabell, we love you always.

Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, Oshawa (905-721-1234 on Monday February 12 from 12:30 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Isabell’s memory may be made to the Covenant House Toronto or a charity of your choice.
