Armstrong MaryARMSTRONG, Mary (O’Leary) Armstrong  -

October 14, 1956 - April 26, 2024

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on April 26th, 2024, with her devoted husband of 47 years, Patrick Armstrong, by her side.

Mary leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that touched the lives of all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving children: Roslyn Pancham (Paul), Ashlyn Myers (Jeff), Sonya Jarchow (Kurt), and Craig Armstrong (Rebecca).

Mary will be deeply missed by her adoring grandchildren: Brooklyn, Addisyn, Hailey, Masen, Kayla, Morgan, Paige, Patrick, and Milo.

Born in Ireland, Mary bravely immigrated to Canada with her husband and 3 girls in 1989. Mary's warmth and generosity knew no bounds, extending across oceans to her family and friends.

She leaves behind siblings, relatives, and countless friends who were blessed to have her in their lives.

Mary's legacy of love, compassion, and grace will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her presence will be greatly missed, but her memory will be cherished forever.

May she rest in eternal peace.

A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Rd. N., Whitby, ON L1M 1W9. All are invited to join the family for a reception following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Mary's honor.

As Mary used to say: “Don’t forget to wear your lipstick.”.
