It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean Joseph Louis Bourdon on Thursday, February 13, 2025.
Jean passed away at home, a few hours before his scheduled transfer to hospice, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He wanted to leave us on his terms, and he did.
Jean is predeceased by his wife, Carol Bourdon (Kimpel), his parents, Louis-Paul and Anne-Marie (Foisy), his sister Monique, and his brother Ronald.
He is survived by his children Jeannine Bourdon-Leclair and Denis Bourdon (Jennifer Sheppard), and his dear companion Louiselle Bourdon.
Also left to grieve are his siblings: Richard "Joe" (Madelaine), Pauline Dion (late Gerry), Pierre (Yvonne), Jacqueline Pepin (Michel),
Denise Raymond (Denis), Suzanne Martin (Michel Parent), Paul (Diane), Gerard (Lisette), Nicole Kingsbury (André), Joanne Arsenault (Troy),
Marc (Michelle), and Michel (Denise).
Jean will also be missed by his grandchildren: Sylvie Leclair, Caroline Leclair (Jimmy), Dennis Jr. (Jessie), Justin (Hayley),
William, and Courtney Bolton, along with his extended family, including Sherry McGlynn (Todd), Michael Parsons (Marion),
and Jason Parsons (Beata), and their children Luke McGlynn, Kate McGlynn, Courteney Parsons, Nolan Parsons, Carter Parsons, and Evelyna Parsons.
He will be remembered by countless nieces, nephews, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jean retired after a long and enjoyable career as a truck driver. He spent his retirement reconnecting with family and friends,
mowing lawns, gardening, and hanging around Murray’s Garage in South Huron. He also enjoyed casino visits and crossword scratchers.
A celebration of Jean’s life will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Corbeil Four Seasons Club,
1482 Corbeil Road, Corbeil. The burial will take place at a later date in Kitchener at Memory Gardens Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest
with his beloved Carol.

Joseph Wesley Matheson passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on January 13, 2025, at the age of 87. Visitation will be held at Hillside Funeral Services, North Bay, on Saturday, January 18, 2025, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Germain Desroches on December 31, 2024, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, at the age of 81. Beloved husband of 60 years to his wife Rita. Germain will be lovingly remembered by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Alexandre Savard passed away peacefully at his residence in Copper Cliff on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at the age of 74 years. Alex is survived by his sister Florence (Lucien Audette – predeceased) and his brother Victor Savard (Gail). He was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews.
Alex was predeceased by his parents Leo and Philomene Savard, brothers Joseph and Albert (Doreen – surviving), and his sister Bella Gallant (Rosaire – also deceased).
Family and friends will be received at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Rd., North Bay, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 7:30 PM on Sunday, December 29, 2024. A celebration of Alex’s life will follow at 7:30 PM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery will take place at a later date.

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Susanne (Sue) Roberta Wall Mossington after a brief battle with cancer, with her family by her side. Beloved wife of Stuart for 47 years, Sue passed away on December 20, 2024, at the age of 63.
Loving and proud mother of Alicia (Charles) and Emma (Bryan). Survived by her father Bob and siblings Debbi, Donna, Peter, Brian (Marcia), and Norma (Garry). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother Shirley and her loving canine companion, Nikki.
Sue was proud to be a qualified lifeguard, swim instructor, and certified scuba diver. She enjoyed many adventures with her family, such as white water rafting, zip lining, parasailing, swimming with dolphins, boating, waterskiing, and spelunking.

The family expresses immense gratitude to all the caregivers who supported Sue through her final journey, with special thanks to Dr. Leckie, Monika, and the team at VON and the Shirley and Jim Fielding Northeast Cancer Centre.
