It is with enduring love that we share the passing of Albert Gerald Falconi on May 3, 2025, surrounded by his devoted wife, children, and grandchildren.
Born to Michele (Michael) Falconi and Anne Felice, Albert—known lovingly as Dad and Poppa/Papa—lived a life rich in family, faith, and service. He was the devoted husband of Shirley Falconi (née Leblanc), loving father to Michelann (Dennis), Ab (Laurie), Tim (Nora), Katrina (Kevin), and Nicola (Jamie), and a cherished Poppa to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Albert served his community for over five decades as a teacher, principal, and Deacon at the Pro Cathedral. Known for his warm heart and spiritual guidance, he touched countless lives through baptisms, marriages, hospital visits, and celebrations of life.
A natural performer and passionate musician, Albert fronted “Al and the Crescendos” and opened for musical legends including Ronny Hawkins and Bill Haley and the Comets. His love of music and joy for life were infectious, especially when jamming or dancing with his grandchildren.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of the North Bay Regional Healthcare Centre, especially those in the Renal and D3 units, for their care and compassion.
Visitation will take place at the Pro Cathedral of the Assumption on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Albert’s memory can be made to the North Bay Regional Healthcare Centre Foundation – Renal Unit.
