MOFFATT, Kerri Moffatt

With deep sadness, yet with peace, we announce the passing of Kerri Moffatt (née Austin) of Nairn Centre, who passed away on July 12, 2026, at the age of 59 after a courageous five-year battle with cancer. She passed peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience.

Kerri was the beloved wife of Mark Moffatt; the cherished daughter of the late David and Carole Austin; the loving sister of Dwayne Austin and the late Joel Austin; and the devoted mother of Kristy Moffatt, Mark Moffatt (Erica), Steven Moffatt, Clifford Moffatt (Shawnna), Kelsey Leclair (David), Taylor Morin (Sean), and Greer Moffatt.

She was a proud and loving Ma to her fourteen grandchildren: Hannah Clarke, Trenton Moffatt, Alexina Moffatt, Nolan Moffatt, Mya Moffatt, Michael Moffatt, Grace Moffatt, Billy Moffatt, Jack Clarke, Beck Clarke, Laine Morin, Ross Moffatt, Poppy Moffatt, and Austin Morin. Nothing brought Kerri greater joy than having her family and grandchildren gathered together, filling her home with shared meals, music, and laughter.

Kerri will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her strength, honesty, sense of humour, and incredible bravery. Above all, she will be remembered for the depth of her love and the unwavering devotion she showed to her family every day. Her warmth, generosity, and fierce love will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A service will be held at 10:30am followed by a come and go Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 18th, 2026 until 2:00pm at the Nairn Community Centre, a place where Kerri created so many treasured memories with her family and friends.
