He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Aldene, and is survived by a legacy of kindness, intelligence, and a commitment to family and community.

Bob was the only child of Robert and Gladys Hunter (née Cross) of Toronto. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a B.A. in Psychology/Philosophy and later earned an M.Ed. from the University of Ottawa. His career spanned many roles in education, including teaching business math, Head of Guidance, Vice-Principal, Curriculum Consultant for northern schools, and a senior position with the Ontario Ministry of Education. After retiring, Bob started a consulting business, establishing Canadian-curriculum schools in Malaysia and Hong Kong.

His warmth, generosity, and love for family leave a lasting legacy.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of McCowan Retirement Residence and Scarborough General Hospital for their compassionate care during Bob’s final days.
