Dale John Elder passed away suddenly at his home with his beloved dog "Girlie" by his side on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at the age of 51. Dale was a much-loved son of the late Rita Elder, cherished father of Ashley Elder (Brandon), and a loving grandfather to Kolton. He was also a dear brother to Linda Elder (Ken).
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at the Holiday Inn Express at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Addictions and Mental Health Services or the Gananoque Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.

Suddenly at his home on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at the age of 68. Chris Cruise, beloved husband of Sherry (née Neal), together for 52 years.
Devoted father of Cian (Jennifer) and Melissa Cruise (Adrian). Cherished Gramps of Llewelyn, Augustus, and Holland.
Dear brother of Dr. Charles Cruise (Jayne). Will be remembered by brother-in-law Randy Neal (Dale).
Uncle of Amanda, Sarah, Mike (Robyn), and Lisa (Matt). Predeceased by his much-loved parents Allan and Laura Cruise.
Chris will be remembered for his love of playing with and spoiling his grandchildren; reading, music, and guitars;
and spending time “up north” at the cottage and walking in the woods.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In the meantime: read a book, play your favorite tune, strum a guitar, pet a cat,
think of Chris, and “Stay Frosty.”

Passed away at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at the age of 60. Mary Jane (née Wheeler), much loved wife of 21 years to Mark Scott. Stepmother of Michael Scott. Cherished Nana of Aubrey and Everlee. Lovingly remembered by her dear mother Marilyn McDougal. Predeceased by her father Ronald Wheeler.
Dear sister of David Wheeler (Marielle). Will be forever missed by her two nieces Emilie and Chloe (Andrew). The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 11, from 1:00 pm until the time of service in our chapel at 3:00 pm.
