Peacefully passed away at home surrounded by the love of family on Thursday, June 5, 2025. David Shaw, beloved husband of 57 years to Carolyn (née Druce).
Much loved father of Richard (Elaine), Edward, Allen, and Francis. Cherished grandfather of Melissa (Andrew) and Ashley (Eluid). Predeceased by his parents Manfred and Bertha Shaw, his brother Stanley Shaw, and sisters Alida George and Bessie Robinson. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Tompkins Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, June 11 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Gananoque Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the UHKF Cancer Centre or to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
